Robert Hardage, M.D. is a diagnostic radiologist practicing with EliteRad Radiology Services, providing interpretation services for diagnostic examinations for multiple imaging centers throughout Florida. Dr. Hardage received a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Georgia and subsequently attended the University of Miami School of Medicine on a naval scholarship and obtained an M.D. degree. Following graduation from medical school, he completed an internship at San Diego Naval Hospital followed by service as a general medical officer for the U.S. Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton, California. Subsequently, Dr. Hardage completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Oakland Naval Hospital, an affiliated program of the University of California at San Francisco. He served as the Chief Resident for the last year of his residency.

Following residency, Dr. Hardage became Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1981 and subsequently remained on the staff at the Oakland Naval Hospital until leaving the Navy and moving with his family to Ocala, Florida. He joined Radiology Associates of Ocala in 1983 and practiced all phases of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology for 15 years as a partner in the group. He served on many committees for the practice and associated hospitals, and was Chief of Radiology at Monroe Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Hardage returned to his home town of Jacksonville, Florida in 2001 and practiced at imaging centers and hospitals in the Jacksonville area, including as an Associate Professor of Radiology for the University of Florida at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. He has practiced with EliteRad Radiology Services since early 2010, and has been involved in the full time performance of radiology services with interpretation of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiographs. Dr. Hardage subspecializes in spinal and musculoskeletal MRI.
